I just went in and asked. No dogs allowed....with the exception of service dogs.
Not sure you may have to call 2wks before they have in the past.
Good breakfast. Everything came out hot. The staff stayed busy and very friendly!!
Food, service, value excellent.
If you like hand made onion rings this is the place for you. Great restaurant with indoor or outdoor seating. The girls who work there are great and get the job done. Recommend!
I was skeptical when visiting Beavers Bend but we were pleasantly surprised when we finally tried them this time. We will now be showing up for breakfast this week.
The food was actually really good but little pricey but you kind of expect it to be.
Quality of fried chicken can be better. Sound a lot like frozen stuff.
Lunch was good. Small place but they took good care of us. Store had essentials there for folks that needed something simple.
A nice lunch in the forest.
Quick grab convenient store is great to have on the park grounds. It's a few miles to the nearest gas station and having this on the grounds works great
Awesome lunch spot after a day of hiking the trails! The entire menu has lots of yummy options to choose from! Staff is always super friendly!
The original place to eat in the park!
Visited over Labor Day weekend and was happy that there wasn’t a wait to be seated. Servers were friendly, though it took a little while for the food to come out. The fried fish and alligator were worth it. The view from the deck was nice and relaxing; a nice escape from the sun.
The salad and onion rings were good. We ordered the chicken fried steak with "lot of gravy". Both were bland. Only two other couples in the restaurant but our waitress was unattentive and only responded when I grabbed her attention. When I got the bill, it listed (2) "extra gravys" at $1.50 each. Had I'd known I would be charged extra for the gravy, I would not have ordered it. When I went to pay the bill, they informed me that it would be an extra 3.75 % if I paid by credit card. Also, did not know how to handle tax exempt efficiently. Won't be returning. The new restaurant in the state park, Foggy Bottom Kitchens, is so much better.
loved this place walked in looked around my heart start betting mile a minute...nice staff great food great atmosphere!!! 👍😁👍
Ate there for breakfast. The Western Omelet was excellent. The biscuits and gravy also good. The prices are a little higher, but the convenience makes it worth it. Will definitely eat there again.
Go there for great river view. Unique. Catfish and onion rings were good. Friendly waiters
Great breakfast! Came out quickly and there was a really nice outside deck to look at the river and eat. Friendly service
Good food and a great balcony to eat on. About 2 stories up in trees. Good place to stay, near cabins.
Usually always have breakfast here when in the Hochatown area. Beautiful scenery and good down home style food!
Our waitress was very friendly and the service was fast. The view from the back patio is fantastic. The animals out here are a lot of fun. Lots of beggars, but they made it a fun lunch for us and the other tables we saw. The food was pretty good. Onion rings were really good actually. Food was nothing overly special but a really nice place that we would definitely come back to.
There is a large picnic area behind the restaurant and a pavilion of sorts to relax in but pavilion doesn't have picnic tables just benches to relax. There are public restrooms near the restaurant with running water and water spicketts outside of the restrooms.
This is such a great little restaurant. The food was great and the service good. The staff was so friendly. I loved the little store also.
Horrible, stood and wait and seat other before my family and I, wont be back
A very plesant surprise! We'd never camped here before and I found myself thinking why bring food when this place knocks it out of the park! Reasonably priced, generous portions and super convenient.
Great food and prices. Very cozy
They have basic products like a small 7-11 would have. I did not visit the restaurant.
Nice atmosphere but a little expensive for the quality of food
This restaurant is always a must when staying at Beavers Bend! Sitting out on the deck and looking out at the river while eating is so enjoyable!
Enjoy sitting outdoors on the deck. While eating, there is a great view of the river & plenty of squirrels will visit! Totally back to nature. Good catfish & shrimp basket. Reasonably priced.
Scenery is 5 star. Chips for salsa way undercooked. Catfish was good.
Great home-cooked food in the middle of the forest, beautiful relaxing views of the forest & the river. All the employees were very friendly, if I live nearby I would go there very often!
So so food! Nice staff.
The onion rings were great. The chicken fried steak over battered and bland, the salad was okay. The service was way understaffed for Spring Break and the wait for food was typically 1hr with other things inconsistent. The prices were not at all consistent with quality.
Such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay for a two or three day weekend!!!!
Food and service were great. You can sit on the water and eat gator!
Had a picnic behind this place on the tables by the river very neat views great picnic area only bad thing is that it dont have any grills
Great food and service in a relaxing environment.
Good food, great service.
Good it's not very good
Always great food and service
This restaurant offers dinner and a show. Food was great. Service was great. The outside seating was empty except for the local bushy tailed friends. Some are so friendly they would eat out of the man's hand.
Literally the most peaceful place on my map for sure
It is a very beautiful place, people were very friendly, we Loved it and plan to go back soon.
Fast service, great burgers (really really delicious! ) , breakfast sandwiches and fried crawfish.. Yum!
Good service good food for a decent price
Loved it! Everything tasted fresh and yummy.
Good food set on the patio and you can get a free show from the squirrels that will come up and eat your fries
Clean, healthy great service and food.
Wonderful hamburgers and a neat change from your run of the meal chain restaurants.
Standard country fare; hearty portions of fairly average food, the server, who also ran the adjacent grocery store, was casual and friendly, the view from the back patio is well worth the forgettable food. Oddly, the oversized onion rings were a surprising highlight, fresh crisp onions in a lightly fried batter.
